Having been within the Education and Training, sector for over 20 years, Paula’s passion for supporting people into and through training and education now sees her freelance working across Cornwall on many projects and pathways.

Paula is passionate about ensuring her clients receive the very best service and experience, working closely together to provide a tailored solution to their requirements, ensuring a robust provision of workshops and qualifications. 

From implementation to completion, overseeing the coordination, development and delivery of plans to suit their needs.

Having enjoyed her career largely based in Cornwall, Andrea qualified at South Devon Polytechnic with a BTec HND in Catering, Hotel and Institutional management.  As General Manager of the Fowey Hotel for over 12 years, Andrea and her team took the hotel from 3 AA stars to 4 AA stars (with 2 Rosette) status. 

This being a “pretty big deal in my world” Andrea comments.  However, it wasn’t without its challenges.  Fear of change, nostalgia, negativity and the occasional ego were just some of the hurdles the team had to face.  “But we came out the other side a tighter, confident and more experienced bunch”.

After her first roles in hospitality as a teenager, Jess has made her way through a variety of customer facing roles, from Account Management and Sales to teaching Yoga and Holistic Therapies.

Throughout her diverse career, she has always felt a strong connection to helping people to achieve, be their best self and get a spring in their step.

Merlo joined the Amber team at the tender age of 8 weeks.  From day one she has been the main distraction for the team and still really loves sleeping on Andrea’s laptop bag and eating anything that is at desk level and below.  Her unique skills are chasing her tale - extremely fast and getting slightly giddy as well as looking completely innocent after learning how to open the office bin and eating the left- overs.  Her responsibilities within the team include; warming feet (by lying on them) and welcoming all visitors with many enthusiastic licks.

She loves windy walks on her favourite beach at Crantock as well as Kayaking with the team at the weekend.
